Is it common to have aches, pains, tiredness after a days work/college etc.?

Hi everyone! I've been on Thyroxine for 6 years now. It took years to be correctly diagnosed with hypothyroidism by my GP. Had always been made to feel it was all in my mind. I was just wondering if it is the norm to feel washed out after a regular days activities, to the point where I need to rest in bed the following day?

I'm new to this site and would really like any info that could help me.

lol...i feel like that without doing anything....it might be worth checking with your doc as your meds may need tweaking a bit x

I am currently still having my blood tests every 3 month and having a few tweaks on my Thyroxine but i also feel like this but when i tell people they say well yes most would feel like it.Bullybear i know exactly what you are on about as i have had this for sometime, bad back and aches and pains etc,i had to go out and change a wheel on my car the other day and i was totally breathless and had to do it in stages so i would think this is normal until your Thyroxine is on par so dont panic, all should be ok eventually so i am told.

I get chronic fatigue if dose is too low. Your symptoms sound like chronic fatigue

Get a new thyroid gland blood test for TSH, T4, T3 (probably wont do this one) by your GP, Also ask for a Vit B12, Vit D, iron, Ferritin and folae. The first two in particular are usually deficient. Get a print-out of your blood test with the ranges (always do this for your own records) and post on a new question for comments.
