Can anyone recommend a good thyroid specialist in devon please?

I can't find any doctor in devon that seems to be an expert in the thyroid gland, I've been to the endo in torbay hospital and got absolutely no where..please help I'm desperate!

Hi! I'm having a thyroid nightmare and although levels are supposedly around normal, I feel the same as i did before diagnosis... Could you let me know about the thyroid legends that you've found? My doctor is bloody great but there's only so much they can do!

Whoah that was 4 years ago. My default recommendation is Derriford, way better than Wonford as the Thyroid lead is streets ahead in Plymouth. I don't expect that to change much unless Exeter gets a spectacular new registrar, so don't hold your breath. As it happens, I'm being graced with a consultation soon in Exeter, so I'll update you as and when. Bear in mind I have no thyroid at all, and haven't had any for 30 + years, so my needs may not be aligned with yours - I'm just after good switched on endocrinologists. Best wishes Richard.
