Hi Browny - I wonder if you could PM these to me too? I'm in West Yorkshire. I did ask the same question a while ago but the only recommendation I got was too far away in Hull. Thanks!

I'm from West Yorkshire but see an endo in Sheffield following having half my thyroid removed due to cancer last year. PM if you want further details.

Would you mind telling me who was the recommendation in Hull?

Hi - I'm afraid I can't remember as I didn't follow that one up since it was too far away from me. This thread is a year old too. I went to see a private doctor instead. If you email Louise Warvill at Thyroid-UK she has a list of recommended doctors - NHS and private.

Hi

Sorry I do not know of any good endo's in Scotland.

If you put a question on the forum someone may know of one.

If you go to tpauk.com they have a list of Dr. Peatfield clinics,

he does have several around the country. He cannot prescribe Armour but can tell you were to purchase it from.

TPAUK also have a list of online pharmacies to purchase from.

Re your other question re repeated thoughts, yes I do get this, if hypothyroidism is not treated properly can you can get all sorts of symptoms, I see you have posted on the forum about this so you will get some more answers.

It does sound as though your present thyroid meds. are not working properly.

If you post on the forum what meds. you are on and how much along with any recent blood results members will be able to offer more advice.

Hope this helps,

Best wishes browny
