My stomach has been feeling out of sorts for a while and my appetite is gone.
I made myself eat three bags of crisps today as they werethe only things i could face. Shortly after i noticed that my stomach was feeling better and i didnt feel so unwell. I was wondering if the salt intake did me good..or maybe it was just a coincidence.

Hi I guess it is too much of a coincidence. Sodum below range is bad as an electrolyte, but too high in range bad too.Low sodium can cause quit a few symptoms, including bad cramp. Too much also causes fluid retention. Only way to know really is to have the U`and E`s ( kidney funtion0 done, sodium can also effect potassium, which is a very dangerous electrolyte, ideally should be about 4. potassium can change in hours but sodium not so quickly, so one set of bloods would show you., or the other symptoms as a guide.
Dr Mercola and Dr Brownstein say that we should only use unrefined sea salt as it contains all the necessary minerals we need for good health. We shouldn't use ordinary table salt. You only need very little of the unrefined sea salt as it is has a stronger taste.
Apple cider vinegar is good for so many issues. Some claim it helps with their arthritis and if you have low stomach acid, it may help with digestion. Could you tolerate a tablespoon of it in a hot drink? Of course, if you think you have an ulcer, this would probably not be a good idea.
