Does anybody have an easy gluten free bread recipe please. Have looked on the internet and they all look complicated. Would prefer to try a recipe that somebody has already tried.
Thank you.

Thank you Moggie, these recipes look lovely. Will give them both a go.
I suppose you don't have any recipes for more savoury bread, missing out honey/sugar/fruit?
Just had a look around the first link I gave you and come up with some lovely looking recipes - they are under treats.

Thank you for the recipes Moggie, they look really tasty, I LOVE banana bread. Amazing how easy it is to make banana bread. Now I just have to hide a few bananas and wait for them to go black.
Gluten free bread is not easy..it just doesnt handle the same.
So I dont bother.....I make all sorts of gluten free goodies...but not bread.
Very occasionally I might make a g/f soda bread but thats about all....
Have fun!!
If anyone wants a really lovely gluten free veggie curry this is wonderful. I have been making it for a couple of years.

Hiya,
I make a gluten free bread from polenta. It's a recipe in the Patrick Holford Low GL cookbook and although it's note like bread (it doesn't contain yeast or gluten loaded flour, it's nice if you crave bread. I cannot eat bread because of my diabetes and the polenta bread hits the spot. I also adapt the recipe by adding herbs and last week I added grated mature cheddar and it was great. I really miss cheese on toast but this was lovely eaten straight from the oven with some butter.
Louise has just set up a Gluten free section on this site - its in the posts section under "Browse by category" - lets hope lots of people start adding recipes and tips.

Hi Margo,
The best GF bread I have found, to date, is the Bread 2.0 on the Elana's Pantry web site this is the linkelanaspantry.com/gluten-fre...
The almond flour is the same as ground almonds, so don't be put off by that. It isn't really like bread with gluten, but it gives the same texture in the mouth when eating it, therefore does fill and emotional need. It lasts for up to 2 weeks in the fridge. All the recipes I have tried from this site are excellent and very easy to make.
Personally I really do not like the gluten free flour mixes and they don't seem to like me!!!!! I am very sensitive to soya, corn, tapioca and buckwheat, a bit of a poison potion for me! The only time I made gluten free flour to make bread in a bread maker I found the bread to be very biscuit like and was not at all keen.
There is a wealth of information on the internet. Another great resource is Dr Frank Lipman's web site, you have to explore but SOOOOOOOOO much wonderful information.
Good luck and ENJOY!
Thank you for this NaamiSue
