Does anyone else feel like this or am I hoping to soon. I go back this week to hospital but had bloods taken and they seem fine. Alix

Always get a print-out of your blood tests for your own records and so that you can post them if you have queries (always make sure the ranges are included). When we are told our levels are fine or normal, it doesn't always mean we feel well or are on enough meds.

Some people do have various side effects initially when on thyroxine.

Do you take 100mcg thyroxine every other day, or is it 100mcg daily with nausea every other day.

Hi thank you for replying and I will get a print out of my blood tests I am not having one untill March but will ask then. I take 100mg everyday and it can be two days at a time and then not for a week. xxx

You could be sensitive to something which interferes with the uptake of levo as your nausea is irregular.

Hi what do you think I could be sensitive to do you think it might have something specific that I am eating.

It is difficult to say. All I can advise is if you take note of things you eat/drink and when you have a reaction you may be able to link it to a specific substance in food or drink. If it was to the levo, I think you would be nauseous every day.
