Can you take a good dose of vit D whilst on high blood pressure pills please. ?

I would hate to say a definite 'yes' but have been using a Vitamin D spray for ages and I seem to be ok.

I also made sure I was well exposed to the sun over the summer, I don't wear sun cream because I don't like the feel of it on my skin but I have skin that tans easily and I have never let myself burn. See what the others say though.

I take 5000 iu's a day of vitamin D3 and am also on high blood pressure meds..my Integrative Doc says this is fine. We need D3, most of us hardly get out in the sun and as we age we even need more, esp. with thyroid issues so do take it but take a high dose...like I do. I use VitaBiotics brand of D3, which you can buy at Boots...good quality and also no added crap.

Thank you too MSC56 lots of differing opinions on amounts of Vit D iu's. I'm sure our bodies would let us know if we are over dosing.
