Evidence that T3 works - have any real world wide big guns written about this.

I write to ask this after reading Neeta-k blog. written earlier I take Cytomel prescribed by my GP. I am now worried that he is going to say he can't prescribe as I come under Telford NHS. I though that if I went with good written evidence it might just help to fight my case. If not can anyone tell me how much a private prescription costs and how it works.

I take 7 x 5 mcg per day. My life was a misery taking T4. depressed, painful joints, panic attacks, brain fog the list was endless. I had part of my thyroid removed in 1988. Diagnosed with Hashimotos 2 years ago. Saw Dr P who said I was not converting T4 to T3 . Life got so much better on Cytomel.

Thanks Sarah - I was looking for T3 versa T4 as opposed to combined t3 and T4. But I do appreciate your input and have saved the items for future reference if needed
