I've recently been told I need to take longer breaks, more often, under the law with an underactive thyroid? I cant seem to find any evidence to back this up though. Can anyone help?!!

There is the European Working time Directive that all employers have to follow (I think a few are exempt) and each employer have their own policies. If you have an occupational health department you should contact them or your union rep. If you are not in a union, join it, they can give you a lot of support.

Under the Equality Act, anyone who fits the definition of having a disability (you do) is entitled to a Reasonable Adjustment; this is tailored to your specific needs and would usually include things like:time off in work to attend med appointments and acknowledgement of higher sickness levels, permission to work from home some days. RAs are statutory obligations.
