I am still so tired and lacking energy but told it's with in normal range
Are you sure your TSH reads 21 and not 2.1 as the figures in the brackets is the range and with a TSH of 21 and a top range of 5.5 it is not making sense that your GP has told you that you are "in range"

Hi moggie. The print out I have says serum TSH level 21.000 mu/L then (0.30 - 5.50).
New to all this so not sure what to make of it

If this was me I would be going back to the GP's and asking him/her how he/she can say that your TSH is normal when it is obviously well outside the range. I don't know enough about someone who has had a TT, maybe he is saying this is normal post op results after two weeks but whatever he is saying he is not making this clear to you.
Rather than go down could you not book a telephone call. The thing with doctors is the more they don't have to tell you the more they wont, but if they know that you will be in to see them or on the phone if you do not understand something the more information they will offer after every blood test or procedure. Even my endo knows that he must explain everything to me or he will only hear from me again.lol.
Keep asking until you can understand your GP's answers and don't feel like you are putting him to any trouble. If he was doing his job properly if the first place and explaining things to you then you wouldn't be needing to ask further questions would you.
Just a tip when using this site - if you use the "reply to this" button by a persons name they get an email to say you have answered them and then replies don't get missed.
