Apple cider vinegar - where's cheapest and decent quality?

Almost finished my first bottle of organic apple cider vinegar so now on the look-out for a replacement.

Online ordering will obviously result in large postage costs although Ebay has some that look reasonable. Tried Sainsbury's without success, anywhere else to look on the high street?

Thanks!

Sainsbury most certainly sell ACV. At least in their larger branches you will likely find both Aspall's (£1.30) and own-label (£1.15 - which is not as nice). These are clear rather than cloudy.

I'd expect most larger supermarkets, most health food shops and farm-shops to all sell some sort.

Meant to have said that I was looking for organic and, in any case, only found their own brand in a fairly large store.

I can REALLY recommend this one. The orchard is very near to where I live and I once visited it and had the grand tour from the owner - the loveliest person you could ever meet. He gave me loads of information about cider vinegar - the cloudier the better and with a large dollop of mother in the bottom of each container. I would not have any hesitation in thoroughly recommending it. It's what I use. ostlerscidermill.co.uk/

Thanks Jane for the link. You were very lucky to have been showed around!

p.s. The owner actually offered me a job which I would have had no hesitation accepting if my life were a little more straightforward than it is. I was VERY impressed with his product. Jane x

I buy Braggs organic ACv with the mother which may sometimes be expensive compared to non organic but I feel its worth it for something like this. look on e bay - the company I used gave free delivery - i think its on sale at the moment for about £7.50 for nearly a litre which is a bargain !

The best ACV is one with the mother culture and I buy mine in a large plastic flagon from Bobbyshealthshop. Ging

I have been on ACV now for 3 weeks and I dont need my indigestion tablets anymore, no more heartburn nor nasty bloated feelings :o)

That's good news! I stopped taking it as it didn't work for me so now use Molkosan.
