Can I get a copy of blood test results? I find all the tsh t3t4 confusing. The whole looking into it makesme more anxious, distraught help!
I too was like you I had no idea what I was looking for or what things were supposed to be.I came on here as my results from gp like lots of other people were "normal" he never gave me my results but I asked him after i found out you could ask for them to print them off and with lots of great advice found out they were normal but not if you were on treatment.
Now almost a year down the line I feel so much better than I did try not to worry you will get some great advice on here from people who can explain it all simply.
I'm afraid you have to look into things otherwise lots of doctors don't treat us optimally knowledge is power.
Get a copy from your doctors and post them on here someone will explain them better than your gp probably and in time you will be able to look at them yourself.
Best wishes

Thank you Vanessa my results due Monday. Been taking levothyroxine for about 6 yrs. this year my dose was upped to75mg. But now I feel yuk again. Not coping at all
We are entitled to copies of our blood test results for our own records. Make sure they have the ranges too as it enables you to post them on a new question and get a better feedback.
Don't worry about understanding them as someone will comment when you post them. If you haven't had a Vitamin B12, Vit D, iron, ferritin and folate ask for these to be done as the first two in particular are usually low in hypo.
