I'm moving soon and someone has suggested I ask on here rather than trial and error! It's a long shot but may be worth it :-)

A little while ago I did a post which was co-authored by people from Cardiff and Newcastle-upon-Tyne. No idea if any of the NE authors do any clinical practice - but the paper shows a recognition of the difficulties of thyroid disorder which is way better than average. Anyway, might provide a pointer.

I leave it to you to check them out!

Remember folk, that naming doctors is not something we like for lots of reasons. So private messages might be in order.

Thanks very much for that Rod but after reading that a couple of times it still isn't sinking in! I think I'm having a particularly "foggy" evening :-( Thanks anyway though.

Two of the authors are in your neck of the woods:

Salman Razvi has this profile:

Simon H. Pearce has this profile:

Don't know if they treat patients.

Got it!! Dr Ravzi sounds like the best bet but I'm actually, believe it or not, moving out of his area to a different one so I'm not sure if I'd be able to see him? I'm a bit clueless where things like this are concerned as I've never really been in a position to need medical help before
