Hi all, does anyone know a good Endo in the Gloucestershire/Oxfordshire area. I have got the list from the site but there are none in my area, the nearest is London.
I am hoping to grovel with my doctor for a referral and would love one to suggest.
Many thanks
Tracey

Tracey - have you checked out the Hospitals section of this site? You can look at your local Endo Dept to see if anyone has rated it.
I thought Jackie would have given you the details, just wanted to give you another thumbs up. There are quite a number of others from the forum who see this lady after all the recommendations she's getting!
Whatever happens you'll have no worries about her not listening to you or talking to you as though you're a moron. Not only does she know her stuff, she's a really lovely lady. Good luck.
Hi Jackie, Would you be kind enough to send details of the consultant/doctor that you see in Leamington Spa. Needing some support and advice with all this nightmare - all 4 of the GP's I have seen at my health centre are utterly blinkered by standard protocols (and not one of them seems to be over the age of 12 !!!!! )
Hi Giagal I saw her 10 days ago and it's nice to speak to someone who listens to you. She has written to my doc on the previous occasion and will this time, but I was never contacted by them to apply her recommendations. I buy my own and pay for my own tests when I can afford it.
I wouldn't worry about getting t3 tests prior to your visit as she was only interested in my tsh which I was surprised about.
