Does anyone else with an underactive thyroid have raised blood platelets?

I didnt have raised blood platelets but i did have unexplained raised white blood cell count the heamatologist thought it was because i smoked but i felt it was related to hypo and lo an behold when i upped my meds it went i never did manage to quit smoking tho.

I know there are some with a low white blood cell count on this site too so i think there is some relationship between odd blood cell counts and hypo

I have hypothyroidism and I just got my MPV test showing high "large" platelets. My glucose was high too. Could be a link between the two. I'll have to check in an endocrinologist. Right now I'm waiting to get a med plan for the new state I just moved to. From Ca. To New Mexico....red tape!
