OMG so scared - MRI scan done Friday, Dr called me in for results this morning. Urgent referral to neurologist - I'm panicking - type into google and all says brain tumour! I lost central vision in eye 13 months ago, am very dizzy. Begged dr for MRI and this is the result. OMG.

So sorry for your bad news and I hope the neurologist can reassure you that this will be totally treatable. Just because you have read the words "brain tumour" it doesn't mean that it is benign so, although its easy for me to say, try not to panic and hopeful your neurologist will be able to answer all your question. If it was me, and I know it will be hard, but try and stay off of the internet as the more you read the more you will freak out and that wont be doing you any good at all.

All I can do is wish you the very best of luck. I wish Dr could have sent you for MRI earlier. Hopefully, it will be nothing to worry about. Love and hugs, Alison :-) :-)

Hi

The pituitary gland sits in a bony hollow called the pituitary fossa. This is behind the bridge of the nose and below the base of the brain, close to the optic nerves.

For more information please go to pituitary.org.uk/informatio...

There is a lot of information on there and reasurring info to. I have a cyst on my pituitary too but it has been decided to leave it alone due to other problems.
