my son stoped thyroxine and had test month leter

he is tsh is 1 [o.4-4.5] and ft4 is 11.85 [12-22] alsio testerone is low 10.8 and has high prolactine what this means could it be something wrong with pituary gand . antidepresants dont hep no medication heps him . i asked dr to make mri but she refused dont know any more hw t hel him he been in and out of psychiatric clinic and no treatmant helps him

TSH not responding correctly to low thyroid hormone levels

How much does he weigh in kilo

It’s ESSENTIAL to be on high enough dose

Typically starting on 50mcg daily. Retest after 6-8 weeks. Increase by 25mcg …..Retest again in further 6-8 weeks etc

This continues until Ft4 is at least 60-70% through range

Testing early morning, and last dose levothyroxine 24 hours before test

doctor wont put him anymore on thyroxine she says his test are normall he has some test for next moth to see . and if tsh is normall she wont do test for all the thyroid panel tks for advice ... i my self do feel well on 100mg i should have felt beter by now is more than a month and i have symptoms as if my hypothyroid is not treated when do i expect to feel beter

For yourself wait minimum 8 weeks before retesting thyroid and vitamin levels

For your son

Test and maintain GOOD vitamin levels by supplementing

Test thyroid levels privately if Dr won’t

not anymore they made gesy which you need pescriptions and aso to see a endocrinologists you need a paper sending you to specialist everything changed

pls advice me for my medication is almost 2 months i am on 100mgg thyroxine and i cant sleep i have tension in my head titinus and i feel excausted dizzy i think is too much for me
