Change in t3 level

Latest blood results have shown quite a drop in my t3 level and am wondering what could cause this.todays results: TSH 0.7(.4-3.5), t4 22.7(10-23), t3 4.2(3.9-6.8)

Six weeks ago: TSH 0.2, t4 24, t3 5.7

Does t3 fluctuate a lot??

Have tonsillitis as well, maybe that wouldn't be helping things at the moment.

Hi Lynda from Oz - do you have the ranges to go with those results please, as this will help us to interpret them? Also please could you confirm what dose of T3 and T4 you are on? I think T3 will vary quite a lot, depending on how soon after your last dose the blood tests were taken - was the gap the same? xx

Results from 6 weeks ago: TSH 0.2(.5-4.5), t4 24(10-20), t3 5.7(3.5-6)

Today's results : TSH 0.73(.4-3.5), t4 22.7(10-23), t3 4.2(3.9-6.8)

Seems odd that my t3 dropped that much so am wondering does it fluctuate a lot?

Currently on 107 thyroxine and test was done around 10am and no meds taken that morning.

Only things that have changed in last 6 weeks have been going gluten free and letting myself get very stressed out about being unwell.

I didn't think T3 did fluctuate that much so not sure why this might be happening sorry. Maybe it is due to your tonsillitis and if so then hopefully it will improve when you get better... Sorry not being any help - hopefully someone else will have some suggestions xx
