The Thyroid Roller coaster!

Happy summer everyone!

I've had 3 weeks of pure, unadulterated energy, joy and health. My endo increased my levo dose to 150 mcg on the 21 June and since the 24th June I've been really really healthy and well. My throat pain disappeared, aches and pains vanished and I felt like myself again for the first time in nearly 18 months. However I am now a little frightened that I might be having a relapse?

Last week I noticed my throat getting hoarse again and feeling a little uncomfortable. It didn't bother me so much because I felt generally really well and alive again! However yesterday I had exhaustion again to the point where I felt I couldn't walk. I went to bed at 9pm and slept solidly until 7am but feel horrendous today and my whole throat and neck is extremely painful.

This might have NOTHING to do with thyroid, maybe I'm just coming down with something. The pain is similar to what I had before I started levo (uncomfortable choking feeling). I have Hashi's and they did find a lot of cysts but they were small (2-3mm) as well as inflammation.

Any hints/tips/advice?

Thanks all.

Have you had all the usual vitamin checked as these are important for the thyroid meds to work to there full potential.

Thanks Moggie!

I am iron deficient which I'm supplementing now with ferrous sulphate (3 x a day) and I've been on a regime of B-Complex as well as Omega 3,6,9 and a Selenium with Vit ACE&D. I've been on them all for about 4 weeks. I rattle when I walk these days!
