There is a Little Earnock Old Firm Charity Football Match being held in aid of Thyroid UK and Cash for Kids on Saturday 20th July at the Jock Stein Sports Centre and Playing Fields, Hillhouse Road, Hamilton, ML3 9TX. Kick off is at 1pm.

The match is run alongside a fun day at the nearby Hillhouse Community Hall which includes raffles, an auction, bouncy castle, face painting and glitter tattoos as well as a dance performance by Dance Central.

That's fantastic Lyn. Whoever arranged that deserves a medal. Jane x

It was my baby brother who organised it Jane ;-) Well, he is thirty but always a baby to me as I was almost 16 when he was born!

For five years running they have organised this for charity, usually children's charities but this year he approached me and said the family were so grateful to the people who helped me here (as am I) that he would like to raise something for them. It's a great day out, I wish you were all nearer to enjoy it with us but I shall report back, with photos. Lots of legs on show that day! :-)
