Trying to order reverse t3 kit - asked for practitionerc code??

I am trying to order a test kit for reverse t3 but at checkout I am asked to write down my practitioners code. I dont have one and my Gp ont agree What to do?

You need to order the tests over the phone and give Thyroid UK as your practitioner. I assume this is with Genova? You CANNOT order the tests online.

And how do you have your blood drawn when u have the kit? I am planning to take it to the nurse at my GPs when having next labs in two weeks time and kindly ask her if she is willing to help.

Yes, you can try that. Or approach your local Private Hospital. Or there are some suggestions on the Genova Information:

That's what I did and the nurse was fine about it. You need to get fT3 done at the same time if you are interested in the ratio between ft3 and rt3 xx

STTM has a calculator to work I out. Am going out now but if you can't find it, I can look tomorrow

You need to make sure that you put the correct unit of measure as it appears on your test results, when you get them.
