Serum TSH level (XaELV) 17.35 miu/L (0.3-5.6)

Serum free T4 level (XaERr) 6.7pmol/L (7.8-14.4)

GP said it's a genetic condition!!! He was really not interested speaking about why this is my result. Is he right?

He is likely right that there is a degree of heritability in autoimmune disorders. (Though it is very much NOT a case of direct and obvious inheritance.) He is wrong in every other way.
