Hope your all feeling a little better for the warmth and the sun
I had a request on my facebook page last Friday from .. UK 38 Deg Thyroid Petition .... and then another request this morning as they are looking for more signitures /votes to take their petition to parliment and have asked me to share again. ( I think they thought it was a 1000 they needed and have found out its a 100,000
Sorry if I'm repeating something that's already been on here .. I must have missed it.
Have been busy painting my bathroom ( although its seems to be taking forever ) with the very little energy I have required from taking a tiny bit of T3. ... darnt go too mad as I'm still waiting for the other blood test and follow up appointment with the Endo and I'm worried incase he will be able to tell.
Hve a good day

Thank you, have also signed after feeling and experiencing that doctors do not understand what you are going through and don't seem to care either, very scary
I just signed the petition "Better endocrinological service and treatment for thyroid/autoimmune patients (B.E.S.T.)" and wanted to ask if you could add your name too.
This campaign means a lot to me and the more support we can get behind it, the better chance we have of succeeding. You can read more and sign the petition here:
P.S. Can you also take a moment to share the petition with others? It's really easy – all you need to do is forward this email or share this link on Facebook or Twitter:
hi all just thought id share the links with you please share with your groups or email we have a mountain to climb, sign and share, xx thanks so much lou xx
i have already signed and copied to my facebook [ hopefully some more signatures ] .yes they do realise that they need 100000 ......they raised a petition last week with regard to the proposal for limiting the number of times that you can see your gp and were successful in making the government to drop the proposal ' like a hot cake' within days ----- the minister stated in an official statement------ we just need to engage as many people as possible to get behind all of us.....alan
Thanks Alan .. Yes I also signed that petition about the doctors ....... lets hope they can get the same ammount of signitures to take Thyroid illness to Parliment.
I think they send me the notifications for petitions because I joined and signed one last year to do with PTSD and Mental Health issues when the Government were cutting funds and closing centers. My son-in-law has severe PTSD which has led to him having a heart attack . Lynn
I just hope we can get enough signatures to get this referred to Parliament here in England after it has already been discussed in the Scottish Parliament and hopefully being investigated by the appropriate MPs there.
I keep sharing the petition on facebook hoping my friends will keep on sharing but unfortunately the people who don't have thyroid issues arn't aware how debilitating a disease it is never mind the lack of treatment.
Unfortunately ... I think the majority of none suffers think its just an excuse people use for being overweight
I got fed up of getting that response so stopped telling anyone about 30 yrs ago.
I don't think any of my friends even knew I am hypothyroid until I asked them to share the petition.
Hopefully every member on here will sign and share it too :-).
