Blood Test results, any help please

Just got a letter posted to me but meant frot my Gp from endo, Serum osmolality 284. vit d 78, calcium 2.3, FT4 16.6, FT3 5.4, prolactin 74, My TSH is <0.05 but thats normal as my pituitary gland doesnt work, U and E normal . IGF1 still waiting . Thanks June

Hi June

There should be some numbers in brackets next to the test results. For example, for TSH this would be something like (0.3 - 3.0) or (0.5 - 5.0).

You need to know where YOU are in the ranges YOU were tested in.

Without this information, you run the risk of getting the wrong advice. :)

Thanks Louise, Thats all the information in the letter i recieved from endo, Took me ages to get some blood test results and still not got all the right info, Never mind, maybe next time i go i will have something to compere with, Thanks again June xxxxx
