What has your GP said about these results - have you booked an appt to see him? If not I would book one sooner rather than later. You don't say if you are taking any thyroid medication, if you are not then I suggest you ask your GP to start you on some as a TSH of 5.9 is to high and if you are already taking them you need to ask him for an increase. Your T4 result is also to low. Talk to your GP and get this sorted.
Don't know anything about potassium levels, water tablets or blood pressure so I can't help there but if your high TSH is linked to these then you need to get him to explain things to you.

Hi thanks for reply. I have appt on Friday if I can. I have labyrinthitis and am recovering slowly. My doc is actually very good. Potassium is back to normal now but my bp has been high for last few tears for no apparent reason , I guess thyroid has been slowly not working! Unfortunately I have 3 things happen at same time and am on my own so struggling a bit. Had hashi antibodies at least a year.
I'm sorry but I haven't got a clue what labyrinthitis is so am a bit lost.
Are you going to talk to him mainly about your thyroid results - if so then you do need to ask him for a trial of levo (I say trial as if he is reluctant to put you on levo then the word trial can sometimes sway a GP to let their patients have it) but it seems, by your results and the diagnosis of Hashimotos, that you will need tis medication full time.
Here is a link to the main thyroiduk's "signs and symptoms" page for you to look at, possible print off, and take to your GP's.

Also you may want to talk to him about testing your B12, vitD, iron and ferritin levels.
Hope this helps

You should be seeing an endocrinologist and put on thyroid hormone. Write a letter to the Practice Manager or head GP stating that you are extremely ill with Hashis and that you cannot cope without treatment and you want to see an endo of YOUR choice.
Or you can change doctors or move practice... either way you MUST see an endo asap.

Another option is to get PALS involved. x
