Parathyroid? ??

Hello to all...... I was wondering if anyone has any information about the parathyroid ??

I had a scan done on my neck as iv another lump appear and also my blood test came back with low calcium levels and vit D.... my doctor has referred me to Leicester Royal Hospital to see a thyroid specialist. Although I now know why my bones are constantly aching and an ankle injury still not healed after a year (lack of calcium in my bones) my dr asks me if any one has spoken to me about the parathyroid? ?

Any information or signposting to info would be very much appreciated x

.....Dr Barry DP also explains it well in his book - The Thyroid and How to Keep it Healthy - about the interplay between the thyroid and the parathyroids. Helped me to understand a bit more....about the way they dance together.
