No, I cannot. have mine out etc. However reading between the lines, may be you are asking about the results. After scan and biopsy of nodules, etc. If removed, some always left behind, so you can still have symptoms of the disease, in fact usually do. I hope that is what you are asking?

Best wishes,

Jackie

Hi From what you say, sounds like a classic case of needing treating with T4 and T3. What are your results? With rages? You always need TSH, T4 and Free T3 tested .. If FT3 not near the top of the range, and T4 highish, possibly less T4 but any way definitely some T3 too. I hope you see a good endo? With your history you should, but make sure good!Usually Ft3 needs to be high in range or should also be given with T4.T3, slightly lowers TSH, but especially amongst other symptoms, helps weight.

Best wishes,

Jackie

Hi

I had half of my thyroid removed last year, no problems with the operation and not much pain, incision healed quickly, followed checkup told remainder of thyroid would produce sufficient hormones, blood tests are within the so called normal range.

Best wishes Helen

Hi, yes I had mine removed 18 months ago, due to very early cell changes in a nodule. Surgery was no where near as bad as expected. Are you having your done?
