So for about a week now I have had really bad back pain, bloating and nausea. I don't think I have eaten anything I wasn't supposed too. Does anyone else find they get this with ibs at all?
I have had ibs for about a year now.

Hi,
New to this site and hoping for some comfort that I'm not alone.
I've had two really bad attacks of what can only be described as trapped wind in the last few weeks, once when I had a pasta dish [ new I should not have eaten it] and another last weekend. I have, after the food has exited been left with a sore back, the first time it lasted a week, this time it is abating even now after a few days.
You may be suffering the same as myself, really bad trapped wind.
Take excercise and the usual to clear yourself out, after a bad attack of IBS I try to starve myself to try to ensure I'm empty.
Your bad back will get better, just be careful with what you eat as usual.
I've had IBS for about 10 years, stay off the things that are bad for you and it is manageable, I let myself down re the two attacks as I'm only human like us all.
My daughter gets this with her ibs and has found it happens when shes not had enough liquid to drink . Without enough liquid the waste in your colon turns to concrete and then causes back pain , nausea and bloating because its then not moving as it should be!
Good luck - ibs is miserable and what works got one doesnt necessarily work for another
