Can a flare last for weeks ?

I think maybe stress from moving has caused it

my last flare up lasted for months, from when I put my house up for sale!! Im sure that stress is a major factor for many of us. I have started yoga and meditation which has been a big help.

Hope you get better soon and good luck with your move.

I have also replied to your other post. Yes the stress of moving, and have you moved to a different water supplier, softer water can upset my tummy, also because you have been busy you may have not taken as much care with what you are eating. I hope you settle well into your new home and things settle down and you can enjoy it more.
