I couldn't take questran as made me sick and swallowing problems. Colesevelam changed my life, I'm on 4 to 7 tablets a day, depending on symptoms. I go for peppermint tea if I get cramps, or mebeverine. Colesevelam can make me constipated though. Am using fybogel regularly to counteract that.

After the usual scans I was diagnosed with BAM . I am also celiac with IBSC which is unusual as BAM causes diarrhoea? So I cannot take the usual meds for BAM. They can't give me any explanation for this so I now feel cast aside cos they don't like to admit they don't know what to suggest for me.
