severe vomiting
Hi there, that doesn't sound right at all. Can you get to your doctor?I hope you feel better soon, take care
thank you,my doctor knows about this,i was tested for coeliac, and was negative,my recent bowel screening is clear,so that is a relief,a doctor told me that they have little to offer,I hope things improve for you too.
Have they looked into gastroparesis?
no,could you tell me what that is?

that’s really interesting,I’m also wondering about gluten free,I’m not coeliac, but still worth a try.
Vomiting isn't usual for IBS and food intolerances. Might be worth exploring things more with your GP - they should not be leaving you with unexplained vomiting episodes and need to investigate further. Gluten isn't an issue for IBS, but FODMAPs in wheat can be, though everyone's food intolerances are different. I wouldn't go down the food intolerance road until they get to the bottom of why you are vomiting. If your GP isn't helpful, maybe try another? You may need some studies around what is happening with your stomach and how you are processing food, which will involve some testing (mentioned on those links).
I have had this after an indigestion attack. Twice it happened and I had severe vomiting around 2am. I have had IBS for almost 20years with indigestion for the past 2 years.
I take indigestion tablets every day, there seems to be a link between the two.
I have experienced vomiting during an episode/flare up where I have cramps/contractions over 12 hrs. It only happens at the most three times a year. My doctor knows and has put it down to anxiety😞
I am sorry you are suffering this! You do need to get medical help I think. Vomiting like this is not usual for IBS, though nausea can be at times. I suppose as all people are different, "mild nausea" for some people could mean literally being sick for others. But still, let your doctor know, and get some help.
