Movicol

I took 2 imodium 2 days ago and now Ive got cramps (I very rarely take imodium) can I now take movicol? I have ibs mixed any advice would be much appreciated?

I would try Buscopan first, unless you think you are very constipated. I have IBS-M and try to avoid Imodium if I can as I find it stores up trouble for later (seem to be going through that problem right now!), but sometimes I’m stuck for options; but I’ve never used Movicol to reverse the effect as I find it corrects itself in time, and I don’t like the idea of going from one extreme to the other. But we’re all different and both these medications are unlikely to cause any real harm.
