accupunture
I haven’t tried it, but I’ve been thinking about it. I would like to know how it goes for you.
hi yes I have tried it, some years ago. It helped with the pain
Yes i have Ibs c & find acupuncture really helpful. It certainly keeps my gut moving & therefore reduces the pain. My general wellbeing is definitely improved & it gives me more energy. I have regular treatments to keep me on track. Good luck with yours.
Had lst session Friday a strangely l feel bit more energy bin waking earlier? I've booked 3 an we're go from there lm ever hopeful of finding something that might help . Thanks for reply good luck to you alsox
I have had acupuncture quite a few times over the years for different complaints. For allergies and migraines I found it life changing. For IBS unfortunately I had less relief - I have severe IBS d. It definitely makes you feel relaxed which is always lovely! I would often find my symptoms change or flare a little in the days following as it definitely stimulated a response in my body so I would be gentle with yourself in the 24 hours afterwards whilst everything settles in your system. I think with acupuncture every body is so different and can be so so helpful for some people - best of luck! Hope you get on well xx
Well Thankyou for that reply as l had it on Friday an sat l had d day an night!
hi I’ve never heard of acupuncture for ibs before, I’d be really interested to see how you get on , is it for symptoms- ibs c/ ibd d ? Or more for pain relief?
Thanks Paul
I had acupuncture for my ibs-d over a year ago together with Chinese herbs. It was recommended to me by my cousin who found that it helped his very bad diverticulitis. Unfortunately it didn't do anything for me. I had 4 sessions and was told to see if there was any improvement over Christmas and new year and then decide if I wanted to continue. Needles to say, I didn't go back. Upon saying that, anything is worth a try. What works for one doesn't work for another.
