I found this in my MSM news feed this evening about Microscopic Colitis, what to do to get a diagnosis if it's suspected, the symptoms and what can help.

Thank you for posting. That is an interesting read.
I had a colonoscopy privately at the beginning of January, when 2 polyps were found and removed during it. However, when the Consultant came to see me prior to having the colonscopy, he told me that, as routine, he would be taking biopsies at the same time to check for inflammation due to microscopic colitis which often occurs in older people (I am 73), but that the condition can only be detected under the microscope, and that it was an easily treatable condition. He took 10 biopsies around the whole colon, but thankfully the biopsies all proved negative and polyps benign. Diarrhoea seems to be the main symptom (not that I have had any) from what I read up on-line, and it does tell one what medication they use to treat it if you look.
OMG! These medics are absolutely ????????? Talk about putting the Cart before the donkey!
completely illogical thinking *****
