Side effects with this medication.

Have got a sinus/ear infection and I’m now on my second load of antibiotics.

Took amoxicillin for a week and obviously I’m now on this.

Had this in the past , can’t remember if I had the trots with it though but I’m definitely going more with this lot.

Anyone else had something similar?

I just want to get rid of this head infection so as long as it doesn’t turn into worse .😬

It can cause the runs yes. I was given it a couple of years ago and stopped it after a few days as it made my symptoms worsen.

yes after being on an even low dose of co-amoxiclav I got the runs. I stopped taking it and my stools returned to normal after 3 days

I got loose stools which did improve after 24 hours, aided with my usual probiotic.

I do wonder if they helped because I’d stopped taking them when I started my first course of antibiotics and read that you should definitely take them during your treatment.
