I don't know how 2 put this but here goes anyway has anyone had 2 pick poop out of your bum? as I had 2 as it got stuck and that was the only way I could get any relief from it and I was sat on the toilet trying 2 force it out 4 a good 15/20 minutes and once again SORRY about such a sensitive matter and just hope you are not trying 2 eat and I was in chronic pain before and now I've made myself tender and sore in there now

That does happen now and then and it's very frustrating. I've used a small bulb syringe with a bit of warm water to get it out sometimes. I know the matter is right there at the opening but you have to try and get the nozzle around it to get the water in behind it to push it out. I like enemas and I believe they are good for your colon.

Soft toilet paper and a dab of Vaseline helps just to start things moving.

That’s happened to me before.I use glycerine suppositories if you can put it in as far as you can that should soften the poo.

It does work for me.

Good Luck

Just toilet paper (not too soft and fluffy) with a blob of "intimate" lubrication works well for me, especially if I'm out and about. Hope this helps.

Do you carry "intimate" lubrication with you when you go out? Interesting!

Sorry, bungi1961, you got caught up in LLWegener's and my humorous exchange there! The product is Boots own brand Lubricating Jelly, a 100g tube in a grey and blue cardboard package. It helps get things moving and does help avoid soreness a little. Hope it helps you. (I've never had funny looks buying it, but I think you can get it online from Boots too.)

That tells me your suffering from constipation and your diarrhoea is caused by bypass maybe take some senakot for a couple of nights in a row and see if that helps, this happened to me before but I used suppositories, constipation can be high up in your colon and your body tries to flush it out by drawing more water into the colon in turn causing diarrhoea

I didn't know that as when it gushes out of me I end up taking Imodiums then follows the constipation well after having to pick the stuff out last evening I am unable 2 sit stand walk ETC as it's really sore tender and raw and just don't know what 2 do with myself today so just having de-caf teas with lacto-free milk been on that milk 4 over a year I have been worried about things like senakot in case the poop comes out like water and I can't control it if you know what I mean!!! as it's bad enough 4 that 2 happen at home and this constant fear of messing myself all the time and got my hubby about the place ( retired ) that makes things worse 4 me as I am on edge with it all the time as it is thank you 4 any help I can get!!! and take care of yourself

Yes the senakot may cause watery poop for a day while it’s pushing the blockage through but once it’s clear you need to look at your diet as to what is causing the constipation, do you ever look at you tube?

Watch Michelle kenways video on food to help constipation and bloating

and food fixes for constipation it’s a video from 3 years ago but explains it very well

I suffer with what I thought was constipation but I honestly think it’s my anal muscles just being useless now, because the poop is there then just refuses to come out at the final hurdle. The poop itself isn’t hard pellets or anything like that. Is that constipation or am I kidding myself? I also suffer terribly with anal itching. I really make myself sore.

Yes I do have that problem also sorry 2 say mine can go on 4 weeks on end and I am forever sitting on the toilet 4 at least 10 minutes at a time and through straining 2 go it hurts muscles in my tummy that I did not know I had and after going in my case feels like I am never going 2 recover and most of the day I have these nasty gnawing, pinching, scratching scraping feeling 4 most of the day as well sometimes after I've been I can still have this constant "URGE" 2 go again I find that sometimes putting a warm face cloth or flannel there can give some relief and Vaseline or Petrollium jelly ( same thing ) on there that can help!!!! even 4 a little while mine can comes out the same and can feel like being cut in half with a sharp knife as it can feel like glass coming out of ( Sorry I don't mean 2 be graphic ) and it has been known 2 reduce me 2 tears with it sometimes I do !!! I have been known 4 it 2 be weeks like that then if I eat something I shouldn't of had it goes the opposite 4 me and it gushes out of as you itch you may want 2 try Annusol pile cream and now through trying 2 force the stuff out has upset my bladder now it wouldn't be so bad if it was just wee that was coming out but when you are forever worried about poop coming out as well it's never ending as we well know sorry I can't be of much help with your problem I just wish I could!!! but that I try 2 do but when you are like this trying 2 explain it 2 anyone who has not had this IBS or Diverticular Disease ( In my case both ) no one understands so take care and look after yourself OK
