You need to re read the replies to your previous posts. There are some strong hints there of how to cope. If you don't heed the advice you will not start resolving the issue.

Possibly it is not the answer you want, but it is how to get through the problems you have.

Again, the essentials; consult a Doctor and dietitian, follow there advice and resort to fodmap until the problems start to settle. Then slowly reintroduce foods sticking with bland foods to start.

Not forgetting to deal with the obvious stress you are putting yourself under. Always good for a flare up.

There is no other way that I'm aware of. I would willingly be corrected if there is another way. Until that happens we are all stuck with similar problematic symptoms. It is what we choose to do about them that makes the difference.

I fully agree with your comment, until someone is Willing to stop and take control and try to help themselves no amount of medication or doctor appointments will help

Sounds to me like you have constipation, but that needs lifestyle changes rather than moans to be honest, no it’s not nice but you need to take control of it.

Aww, bungi, I am so sorry you have been so miserable with it all. It sounds like a really bad day. I hear you about feeling like we are completely on our own with this stuff.

I'm not sure I can give you much practical help re: what sounds like a bad constipation kind of IBS, as I get the opposite! Too-loose stool for often no apparent reason, but just "because it can".

Okay, one thing you're NOT is "being a pest" ! Otherwise we're all guilty! haha

That's what this wonderful understanding forum is here for.

All I can say is if you have been horribly constipated, and then the "floodgates" open, then while that isn't pleasant it's healthier for your body to shift that waste out of you, so try not to be too scared of the process of it, and just support the process with calming herbal teas etc, and eat light nutritious food such as vegetable soups. And hopefully it will help you feel a bit better when it's done its thing.

It can feel awful to be scared of what's going on in our bodies (which is ZERO fun with IBS!!) and then to find medical support and advice just isn't there ....except of course the usual crusty receptionist answer which is "you can make an advance appointment for X date" (which happens to be 2 weeks later!) Fat lot of good to us who are sitting on the toilet scared out of our wits and just need some help.

No wonder it's crazy in A&E. I do not blame anyone for taking their horrible scary pains etc to A&E.

I would be interested in how you recovered from this!0

Have you had any improvement yet?

Most of the meds you list do have effects on bowel movements.

I advise you to keep at your Dr's because nobody should have to put up with what you're going through.

It is the squeaky wheel that gets' the oil. Keep at them.

Cheers
