I found talking about from the start helps greatly. Otherwise you will struggle every time you go out with them and you will find yourself lyingAnd making excuses why you can't ho anywhere. My date understood from the start and she used to say when traveling anywhere "if we have to stop we will stop" and I have always manage

To ho anywhere with her either worrying.

my advise to you would be tell her before you go out, tell her you have an issue with you tummy and foods can make things very bad so maybe could we go for a walk beforehand the fresh air will help and it gives you time to explain to her what’s your issues are without having to look right at her while your feeling embarrassed, if she is the one for you she will understand and accept you and your IBS.

I would just try and relax and be yourself! If you are eating on the date it might be wise to take some meds with you aswell as avoiding your trigger foods and may be have some small portions. I'd also eat wisely a few days before if you can. If I'm doing something important, I try and be really careful beforehand as I know I can suffer for days if I get s bad tummy. Good luck!
