Update on Xifaxin Treatment for SIBO

I did promise a few posters abut my results after taking a 2 week 3 times per day course of treatment. During the 2 weeks my symptoms such as bloating and constipation improved and I was hopeful for the benefits to last a number of months HOWEVER within a day or 2 after stopping I was the same as before.

This med can cost up to $2500 for 2 weeks or perhaps $700 with good insurance however many people such as myself get to try it for free. I would feel so much worse if in fact I paid for this.

So the journey continues....

Thank you so much for letting us all know how you got on. Sorry it was not a longer term solution. One day perhaps.

Try: Welchol, Colestipol, or Questran...miracle drugs in my opinion for stopping diarrhea in its tracks.
