hi everyone. Hope everyone is doing good. I had a question regards to IBS D. From the beginning of my IBS D I have not suffered any from a lot of pain. It’s been there but not frequently. I have questioned my gastro about the same. He says it is possible to have IBS D with very little pain. Wanted to know if anyone else has similar experiences.

IBS D and pain
I was told by the doctor in 2020 that I have IBS-D predominantly, and I don't suffer with much pain either. I sometimes do get a little, but it's not really pain. more of a kind of heavy sensation or "discomfort" low down in my belly which can come on in the evening about 4 or 5 hours after dinner. If I pass wind it eases and usually passes in about an hour or so anyway.
Occasionally I sometimes get trapped wind which can be slightly painful but when that shifts I am OK again. And occasionally my belly cramps a bit before a BM in the morning but it goes away after I've been.
At the beginning I had IBS-D with no pain, only cramps when I ate dairy with very severe D afterwards. I learned to watch my diet carefully. As I got older things changed and I started having cramps, sometimes severe, which went away after a while. Sometimes I had a bowel movement and sometimes just gas.
I would have cramping , sometimes very bad, that having a bowel movement would relieve. When I say bad, I mean sweating and feeling like I was going to pass out. Luckily those episodes were not frequent.
I only have pain if I I’m trying to hold it.
