Help post colonoscopy discomfort!

Hi everyone I had a colonoscopy 7 days ago. Immediately afterwards I was fine, no issues. Diagnosed with Diverticular disease. However over the last few days I have been feeling rather sore, its difficult to explain but a swollen feeling on left under ribs and a bit numb. Its a little like the feeling when I was pregnant if that makes sense a sort of overcrowded stretched feeling. Im not sure whether this is normal there seems to be no guidance on when to worry or what's usual. Does anyone have experience? Many thanks

I felt sore a week after my recent colonoscopy. Guess its all the air and instruments they used disturbing our bowel. You have had a foreign body ie a camera inserted in your bowel little wonder its feeling a bit battered and bruised. Mine settled and I was so pleased nothing bad had been found. Best wishes.

I had a similar feeling and was told it’s sometimes a bit of soreness or a bruised feeling caused by the colonoscopy tube going past the top of the colon where it has to bend. It wore off after a couple of days.
