I'm the same. I drink low acid coffee.

Yes, coffee does stimulate bowel movement. I couldn't have coffee at one stage because it was too much stimulus! lol (I had the D a lot more than I do now)

But I adore my morning coffee, and have one at least now, often two.

Do you have an aversion to coffee, or is it just that you don't like it? Are you trying to avoid caffeine? It's the only thing that brings me back to earth in a morning. :D

I have heard decaf can help BMs too. Maybe you could test that?

A teaspoon of quality molasses every evening works wonders. An old remedy.

And look closely at what you eat,and drink. How's your water intake.

You know what I find ironic, dr's, and other health professionals, tell us to stay away from coffee and chocolate, and Cola, but they help stimulate bowel movements. Cups of tea wouldn't be as effective, as tea is just an antioxidant.
