Hi, does anyone suffer with bloating but all the time? For the last couple of months my stomach has felt bloated most days and more recently I have had a gurgling stomach, mucus in my poo, lower back pain, urgency and acid reflux.
I am currently having bloods, stool samples etc to rule out other things as I'm worried that constant bloating could be something more worrying than IBS. But just wondered if it could be the IBS?

It's more the bloating every single day that I'm worried about. It doesn't come and go it's pretty much always there. Today I've developed pains low down as well. It's been a tough few weeks!
Thank you. I think I've have been over googling and my head is spinning. These symptoms could be any number of things but I can shake the ovarian cancer thing. I do suffer with health anxiety but this has purely come from having such strange and prolonged symptoms over the last 4 years!
I'm sure the wait is excruciating, but the results will very likely point to IBS. It does, indeed, sound like you've probably had it for 4 years. What have been your diagnoses so far?
Yes. Have had IBS for 20 years. Just resolved bloating and related G.I. issues with Dr. Janel's high sulfur protocol. There's a podcast on the Sibo Doctor discussing her protocol with MSM. changed my life.
When I didn’t totally eliminate every food that my bowel ‘didn’t like’ I was always bloated and my stomach felt like a pregnancy belly - hard and with no give.
Now after so many awful episodes of violent diarrhoea and throwing up etc I finally have eliminated all my current offending foods (wheat, alcohol, some nuts) and what I believe to be the irritated swelling of my guts has subsided and I can actually poke my tummy in a good few inches as it’s no longer rock hard.
Suggest an elimination diet to find out what is upsetting your tummy so much.
