Constantly, makes life horribly difficult. Unsustainable but where to go for any solution, unknown.

Ive had the same pain. A and e wasn't bothered . I've improved now by kickstarting my own healing by diet and supplements. Long way to go still and there are more bad days than good.

thank you for your reply , can I ask what supplements you are trying , I’m trying to sort my diet out as it’s been shocking for a while as I have been looking after my poorly husband who only passed 9 weeks ago , so no wonder my stomach is a mess

had similar experience. I used to be screaming the house down every weekend for about 5 years. No gluten, dairy, oats or caffeine foods made a huge difference to me. I think hormonal changes can make things worse. I’m now post menopause. Still get flare ups but not so painful.

Have you been to your GP to have all the tests run - see here:

If so, have you been diagnosed with IBS?

Do you have any other symptoms other than the pain?

hi Cazy , so sorry for your loss , it could be stress that’s caused this , I’ve had the same excruciating pain resulting in trip to hospital , probably from the stress of losing my son at the time . I really feel for you and I hope things improve soon , take care xx

I used to get this every two months or so, usually around or during my period for about 15 years but it was assumed to be IBS. I ended up in hospital in April 2020 with Sepsis and after ultrasounds, CT and MRI scans where they were trying to diagnose the infection, they found a large cystic mass on one ovary - had a hysterectomy three months later and I was asked if I'd been having any abdominal pain, as my fallopian tubes were chronically inflamed, showing signs of years of inflammation. I'd ask your doctor to be referred for an abdominal ultrasound at least, just to make sure, don't let them fob you off with "it's the IBS" conversation.

I hope you’re physically feeling a bit better Cazy1010. So sorry for your loss 🤗

Yes been there too. Diet changes do help, cut out caffeine etc re the pain might also be worth having your gallbladder checked ?
