omerprazole with stribild

i take stribild daily and have been for 9 years. I now taking omerprazole 40mg daily for the last 3 months for my acid reflux. With out it i can not lie down in bed with out acid heart burn from hell. I now thinking its doing other things to me my body smell has changed, i fart a lot more, i am total unregula pooing and i now have a unexplained back pain. Is this me over thinking things the doctor thinks i am after he did some blood tests.

There is also a 20 mg. dose. Maybe that. world be worth giving a try. I did take 40 after an intestinal surgery, though, and did not have any problems with it. Of course, everybody is different.

Do you have a valve issue or is it just reflux? I was getting heartburn and nausea and vomiting a lot before the low fodmap diet but its almost 100% cured my symptoms. I only get nausea or slight reflux if i eat foods im intolerant too now. Have you tried cutting out foods? For me its onion, garlic, brocolli, oats and gluten that are the worst offenders. But also i ate 200g of beans in one day the other wknd and felt very sick later.. Dont be too strict on diet once you work out offenders tho, try to add foods back or you end up with bowel issues anyway!
