I also feel stomach cramps in those places and many other unlikely spots like between my shoulder blades.

Pain and cramps high up sounds like it could be acid reflux. My Doc prescribed buscopan for cramps which can be brought over the counter.

My cramps are low down, just behind my belt buckle. They can be extremely painful sometimes. I’ve started taking Acidophilus and touch wood, no IBS for a couple of months now 🤞

Yes, always get them just under my ribs on the right had side and radiates further down and across but can also get pain in between my shoulder blades. Boscopan is very good at relieving it but I try not to take it for too long just a day or so until the cramps subside. Hope that helps

Hi. It could be gallstones or inflammed galbladder. I had similar symptons with pain travelling to the back and it was agonising. Was referred to a gastroenterologist who sent me gor a mrcp scan and I had diseased gallbladder and stoned which I have now had all removed. Adk for a referral if the pain is unbearable. Wish you well.

Thanks for the reply I do have a polyp on my gallbladder but when they try to do an ultrasound they always say there’s too much bowel gas so they can’t see anything

Then request a MRCP that will show the problem . If gp says no ask for a referral to see a gastroenterologist . The GPS try to fob off problems. I suffered for years then a new gp referred me straight away and that was my problem. I had to have gallbladder removed a.s.a.p I wish you luck
