Hi.

I'm a new here , I'm suffering from IBS long years ago.

i have nausea ,dizziness, pain in my stomach and intestine ,alternating diarrhoea and constipation, bloating .one year and half ago i started to have acid reflux and its horrible with IBS oh my god especially when i wake up in the morning.

DR prescribed for me mebeverine and buscopan but it doesnt help much especially when i have IBS attack . i'm vegetarian and most of food causes pain after i eat.

i tried the mint tea its good but its not good for the acid reflux.

some times i drink chamomile tea it helps but for a little time not long time.

i'm using now probiotic capsules once at night it helped my IBS but not totaly .

Raneena, it may help to start in the brain responsible for many functions including digestion. Connecting the gut to the brain is the vagus nerve and both rely on vitamin B1 for this arrangement to work. B1 also called thiamine requires magnesium to become bioactive. The vagus nerve is connected to the sphincter muscles that regulate the passage of food and fluid from the mouth to the stomach along with the other organs of digestion and the intestines as well. So adequate magnesium to activate the thiamine are vital for brain/vagus nerve function. Raneena, there are thiamine forms such as TTFD that offer high absorbed levels in the brain and body than water soluble forms that may serve your current state, Also, magnesium forms such as magnesium glycinate and threonate offer benefits you should check out. Be on the lookout for anti thiamine factors that decrease thiamine. Search on "stuttering anti thiamine factors" for a comprehensive list. These attachments offer insightful info. Always consult your health care professional before using any supplement.

Hello Raneena I too have IBS and when my medication doesn't work I drink home made ginger tea with a slice of lemon 🍋. I buy ginger root from Safeway QFC and other grocery stores peel off the skin a cut into chunks boil for about 5-10 minutes and remove from heat until the pot has cooled and pour into a container of your choice. You may add honey or whatever you like as a sweet. I prefer to drink mine straight nothing sweet. I wish you the best of luck. Briana

I take 25m. Meclizine, over the counter, for dizziness and nausea. Works wonders.
