Sick of burping and other everyday no ibs pills are working also burning in stomach but don't have cramping like other people with ibs

Yes had rennies settlers all ibs treatments gaviscon the hospital thinks its ibs but ime not convinced

Mmm tricky! Can your GP recommend you for an endoscopy? That will look for ulcers and problems in the upper digestive system. That is an option for you if you have not already asked. In light of the comments below, the only other thing I can think of is that your problem is actually low acid levels in stomach. Weirdly this can cause the same symptoms as high acid or ulcers. Some people swear by apple cider vinegar for this reason. It could be worth a try for a few days and if you feel worse stop it. So much "medication" for us IBS people is based on trial and error as we try to find out what is wrong and whether anything helps relieve it.

I think it may be a con for a lot of people, but not everyone. I did have it - took the test, and then the antibiotics and the particular symptoms of SIBO did go away. I still have IBS, but in my case SIBO was just another miserable set of symptoms on top of the IBS symptoms. Other than not feeling great, the main symptom was very very sticky BMs that were almost impossible to wipe. Ugh! xx

Could be a hiatus hernia or a gut full of bile, which they very kindly removed from my stomach this morning xxx.
