I have stage 3 CKD. I have been taking PPI’s for a couple of years. However I have been reading that I should not be taking these for more than 2 weeks. Also they can cause CKD.

Indeed PPIs can cause significant side effects (like most other drugs) including kidney - see drugs.com/drug-class/proton.... Also you should be careful coming off them to avoid rebound reflux. Then, of course, there's ongoing treatment of the relevant health condition (presumably GERD or GORD) for being on them.

For these reasons, Id always suggest contacting a naturopathic practitioner.
