Metallic taste in mouth...

Hello, does anyone experience metallic taste in mouth? I also feel like my teeth feel "gritty" if I grind them. I've been feeling this for a few weeks now. I thought it was the Tumeric capsules I've been taking so I discontinued them about 2 weeks ago.... I was also taking Olive Leaf Extract capsules but it's not that either. Could it be IBS? I actually have been feeling fine regarding my IBS, so what gives?

hi happyhealth22 i suffer from ibs and i dont take any thing for it as nothing seems to work and only makes it worse but yes i have the metallic taste sometimes but as for gritty teeth thats a new one one me hope this helps jeff

Metallic taste is usually blood. Perhaps you should see a dentist a check out your teeth?

I have always thought metalic taste in mouth is a sign of being anaemic. have you had a blood test recently?

YES I have that awful taste in my mouth. I believe it's stomach acid. Do you ever have a white tongue? It's an awful taste. I have tried bitters and then I take Zantac and tums but the taste is persistent
